About Jessica
A Creative Explorer
My career path has been a real adventure. Before exploring the world of product design, I was a web designer and developer creating in a digital landscape. I cut my teeth at a few prominent design agencies which gave me the chance to learn from top industry designers. Their mentorship helped me develop my design aesthetic and discover my passion for exploring new technologies and creative outlets.
I'm always searching for new ways to be creative, and I began sewing in 2011 as an outlet to get off the computer. I was hooked! After more intensive training, I started my clothing line, Machine Apparel, in 2014 which focused on modern minimalism, edge, and attitude.
In the Fall of 2017, I completed a groundbreaking new program at PENSOLE Design Academy studying Functional Apparel and Accessories (FAAS) with Angela Medlin. From there I spent almost six years with The North Face as both a Color Designer and Apparel Designer with a primary focus on outerwear and sportswear.
Starting in 2025, I have joined HOKA as an Apparel Designer to focus on building their growing line of performance products, working and living in beautiful Portland, Oregon.
